Year Groups

Sunnyfields is a one form entry school

The places are allocated as follows:

Infants 90 pupils
Juniors 120 pupils

School Opening Times

Years 1 and Year 2 8.40am - 3.20pm

Years 3 to Year 6 8.40am - 3.25pm

All classes line up in the infant playground and are taken in to wash their hands.

Children are marked late if they are not in line when the teacher takes them in.

At the end of the day all children are collected by parents from the infant playground.

Reception Class 8.40am – 3:15pm

The children line up in the infant playground where they are collected by their teacher. Parents are invited to join their children for a phonics activity led by the class teacher on Wednesday at 8:50 AM. The session finishes at 9:20 AM. The class teacher will inform parents of the days the phonics sessions will take place through the newsletter.

Reception children are collected by parents/carers at 3.15pm from the infant playground.

Nursery AM 8:40—11:40pm
Nursery PM 12:30— 3:30pm

Each child attends nursery for five three-hour sessions, Monday to Friday, bringing the total weekly hours to 15. Additional hours may be available for parents using the 30‑hours code or wishing to pay for extra sessions. Please find all the information on our Nursery page.
