If your child has a runny or blocked nose or is sneezing, they should be in school. Please show them how to cover their mouth when they sneeze. They could bring some tissues to school. If they have diarrhea, they do not need a test but should be at home for at least 24 hours after the last episode.
If your child has one or more symptoms of Covid 19, they need a test. All members of the household need a test or need to stay at home and not leave the house for 14 days. The 14 day period starts from the day when the first person in the house because ill. Siblings should be off school until the results of the test are received.
If your child has one or more of the symptoms of Covid 19, arrange a test. It is not easy to arrange a test and it can take some time and might involve travelling (NOT BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT) Parents should persevere and will eventually get an appointment.
